Oval Office Gets a Makeover

Apparently, while President Obama and his family was on vacation this summer, the Oval office got an upgrade. Designers gave one of the most famous rooms in the world a face lift adding new wallpaper, rugs, and coffee table among a few listed.
Respectfully, I ask: "So?" Sorry media, but there are way more important things to report on...shaking my head...

Here We Go Again!

So yet ANOTHER Republican who has in some way been tied to the opposition of gay rights, specifically gay marriage has what? COME OUT OF THE CLOSET.
Ken Mehlmen says, "It's taken me 43 years to get comfortable with this part of my life...The process has been something that's made me a happier and better person. It's something I wish I had done years ago."
You mean, like in 2005-2007 when you headed the RNC? At which time the same RNC began to heavily push for and speak out against gay marriage???!? You have got to be kidding me!
When will the hypocrisy end???? Whatcha think guys? Applaud him for his honesty or no?

Oh Elisabeth...

Elisabeth Hasselback has done it again. The ultra conservative co-host of ABC's "The View" has come out and said that she supports gay marriage. Now as you all know, Elisabeth has makes no apologies of her strong right-winged views, so as you can imagine, this is a HUGE shock.
Although some of the things that Hasselbeck has said over the years makes me cringe, I have to say that it took bravery to speak out...check out the full article on the Huffington Post:

Sounds more like a center-right stance to me...
What do you guys think? Is it fair to assume that most Americans are neither fully Democrat or Republican, but rather affiliate with specific parties by issue?
